Great place to worship and serve. Very welcoming. With a focus on small groups or connect groups a large congregation is made small! I love it!
The reviews for this place speak for everything it’s not. Saying it’s a rockstar church in worship, staff are great and even full bible or gospel. But no one seems to say, let alone know, what this place teaches. From my experience they don’t want to say what this place teaches as you would not want to even visit like I tried. I did not see any love, kindness, compassion for others coming from or inside thus copper topped monstrosity... Any time I visited and has only gotten worse.
There is rightfully concern over the cultish nature of this church getting you hooked with charisma and emotions then force you down their rabbit hole; think of Hellraiser movies of seduction to get the hooks in you.

It seems like the negative reviews have an axe to grind. For those looking for a church, this is a larger church that will lean charismatic. I find the sermons will typically challenge you to press forward in your faith rather than staying stagnant and too comfortable with your present stage in life. Music is very well done and fresh, but don't come looking for the songs you were comfortable with from 1995. Sound is well-produced and they provide a nice environment for worship. My kids seem to love it and there seems to be a lot of direct interaction where the teachers truly invest in the children. Mixed congregation of all ages and races with Spanish interpretation headsets available.
Emmanuel Christian Center is my very favorite church. I try to visit whenever I'm in the area. My husband calls it "the rock star church" because of the fun, energetic style of worship, but they still retain a full gospel, full Bible message. I recommend that you go there. You will love it!
